My dog gave birth to a single puppy, we didn't even know she was pregnant. The puppy is 2 months old now and I'm really having a hard time potty training her. My mom is so stressed out bcs she goes wherever in the house. I take her out at regular intervals and even spend 30 min outside to wait for her. She just doesn't do it outside, but once we come inside she goes. 🥹 What am I doing wrong?

I write to you today with a heavy heart and deep sorrow. Please, I beg you, listen to my plea.
I am overwhelmed with sadness thinking about the plight of so many innocent, voiceless creatures who rely entirely on their humans for care, love, and survival.
I implore you, I beg you—please, please teach pet owners about the most basic and essential needs of their pets: food and water.
I humbly ask you, with all the love and respect in my heart, to use your incredible influence to bring awareness to this issue.
A hungry or thirsty being, whether human or animal, cannot thrive, cannot behave well, and cannot feel safe.
A caged, voiceless creature, stripped of choice and dignity, cannot be expected to behave perfectly. And yet, so many pet parents fail to meet even the simplest of needs—hydration, nourishment, freedom to relieve themselves and pee without punishment.
We humans have the privilege to open the fridge or pantry whenever hunger strikes.
We can drive through restaurants, buy food, or drink water at will. But these pets cannot do anything unless we provide for them.
They are utterly dependent on us, their guardians, for every single aspect of their survival.
please—please help.
Too many pets are yelled at, beaten, or kicked for accidents that are not their fault.
If they pee inside, it is not their failure—it is ours for not letting them out in time. If they chew or break something, it is often because they are not given proper food or nourishment.
I am pleading with you: please help educate people about kindness, compassion, and their responsibility toward these voiceless creatures.
My own pet has never broken anything, never misbehaved, and never had an accident—not because he is perfect, but because I strive every day to meet his basic needs. I hydrate him, I feed him as I feed myself, and I give him love.
But not all pets are so loved and it breaks my heart.
I beg you again—please, please raise awareness about the harsh treatment so many pets endure. They cannot speak for themselves, but we can speak for them.
With all the humility, love, and hope I can muster, I ask for your help.
I will be forever grateful for any action you take to help these precious beings.

me and my family are planning to adopt a dog, we aren't sure what kind of dog yet, but we want a rather small one but not a chihuahua. My dad works every day of the week and my mom works shifts 6am to around 5pm. both me and my brother are in school 8am to around 2. We want a social dog and a rather cute one. if anyone has any tips on what dog breed we should get please let me know 🙂

I have a question. My 4 month puppy can sit but she does it only for the treats. Sometimes when im holding treats she would just sit down and expect one. Is this good or does this mean that my dog just wants treats?
First time owner of 2 pups, I started with their name and it only took them a matter of minutes to start catching on, only tried for a few minutes each
@zakgeorge Is it confusing to a dog if its name ends in an O sound like Zorro or Hondo if you're going to use the "no" command?

Too many treats confuses a puppy.
Only after peeing/poopy and when training.
Otherwise you’ll end up with an over weight dog!
