How do they do with livestock? I raise chickens and ducks and goats, but Iβd like to have a bulkier breed because we have coyotes and bears in the area.
We recently got one who was cross bred with a pit bull. Sadly we are rehoming her as my wife realized the level it takes to train a dog like this. We only had her a few days but she has done her research and she doesnt think she can handle this. So we decided rehoming her will be best shes only a month and a half old so she has a good chance with a family that can dedicate that time to her. I can handle it but she is afraid of that level of commitment when im not here. So we will be finding her a good home and maybe get something like a chiwawa later (disclaimer she bought her because she loved how she looked and just puppy eyed her. She later read alot on the breeds and decided it was best to give her a better chance with someone who can make that dedication she does want a dog but feels she can only manage a small breed)π
