and they are NOT to be let around babies, unless **strictly** supervised and for very short periods. as in you hold the woozle and let baby look. that needs to be it until theyβre older as babies in particular(until 5/6 months) have whatβs called the palmer grasp reflex which means anything put in their hands/palm will be grabbed onto very strongly and not let go easily. that includes fur. and babiesβ cries, yells and sounds activate their prey drive as theyβre akin to rabbit distress sounds, leading to possible nipping, biting and scratching. not their fault, itβs nature, but it IS your responsibility to protect both woozle and baby/very small child. β€
Never allow your ferret near your face, as this womsn has. The glasses might help. But when you are wanting a bite to your face, do what this person does. Hmmm.
My little rescue girl lived 12 years. I had to put her down she declined very quickly but she was fluffy and gorgeous up until the end. My 7 and 8 year old ferrets both have little rat tails but not Mina! She was named after Wilhelmina Hawker from the Dracula novel because she loved biting feet and at the end I believed she was an actual vampire. Beautiful until the very end!
we are a family of couch potatoes, but my son is really active and he need a pet to do therapy, he actually resembles the ferret style, always mischieving… b ut i am a litttle worried about something like: running awy from the door/window, bad smeell and not being able to use the Β΄toiletΒ΄.
Please don't keep these beautiful creatures confined to one room. They need lots of attention, love and stimulating play time. If you can't provide this please don't get one. Their awsome π
Personally, I think they are the perfect family pet and I have to admit they have brought so much joy to our lives and boy do they make us laugh a hell of a lot
I have had cats & dogs as pets. But for me ferrets are the most beautiful pets in the world I had 3 female ferrets and they bring to my life joy and love. Unfortunately they passed away because of insulenoma and adrenal disease since then My heart is broken

Kissing pets is so unbelievably gross
My ferret was chasing my phone when he heard the squeak
I'm personally able to stay home all day, so they spend about 12 hours a day outside the cage! π¦¦
Check email, my friend β€

Why would you leave it in a cage?
As an introvert who refuses to do anything after school, I think I'm getting a ferret
I have had Ferrets since 1980….the big problem is they only last 6 To 7 years

Was that Bwian at the beginning?
Ferrets are the perfect family pet. But the most important question to answer before getting a ferret is if we are the perfect human for a ferret
I've recently got my 2 they are 3 months old and they are the best pet but also hard work but so worth it
Love β€ this. Love my ferrets. Hilarious and very loving. Perfect π β€
