I’ve just come back to this video to tell everyone who finds it how amazing it is! Literally brought the puppy home last night and followed all the advice in this video. Today he is already sleeping in his crate without needing us around. Please follow everything she says I promise it’s absolutely worth it. We can get on with our day today, showers, cleaning, cooking etc. and we haven’t had to monitor him constantly. It’s so worth it! ❤
our first mini goldendoodle didn't whine or cry ever, but we just got another mini goldendoodle puppy and he cries non stop in his crate/play pen during the day and when its time for bed.
I definitely need some help… I have no idea what i’m doing, i’m gonna be honest. My puppy is 3 months old, and i’m trying to crate train him to make him sleep in there, but he has HORRIBLE separation anxiety and he hates being by himself, no matter if he’s even with a person he doesn’t know, he’d rather be with a stranger that has the possibility to kidnap him than to be alone.😭
I’m extremely stressed right now, because every time i try to sleep, i can hear him crying and yowling in his crate to be let out as if he would die in there or something. It’s extremely irritating and i have no clue on what to do. My mom kept recommending me to just ignore his screaming, but the more i ignore him, the louder he yells. And i have neighbors, so when he screams it quite literally sounds like he’s on the verge of death, and i dont want my neighbors to constantly hear him whining and yelling at night when everyone is trying to sleep… What do i do to fix this? 😭😭😭
I’m really trying not give up on him and I have been doing everything wrong when he cries I let him out I feel like I’m over babying him I can’t sleep in my bed because I been doing everything wrong so from here on out I will be doing everything right
Help ! I have a 8+ week Belgium Mal. Name is Badger. A boy.
Having a lot of issues with biting and biting the adult German Shepard. In our home. My partner works 12 hours shifts. I’m currently still a homemaker. So his schedule is too long to impact the puppies behavior unlike me still home and not back to work. Yet.
We made the mistake of not crating the dog for close to two weeks now. So I went out. Bought crate and of course I also made the second big mistake of coming back too many times to the puppy.
I have very few locations in our house to put the puppy and also have music going which was recommended. Besides the sheet aspect which I also did wrong.
I also made the mistake of leaving too much food out. Including the German Shepard’s food which Badger likes to steal if it’s not kept up.
The other idea I had was putting the puppy in its crate and let it cry it out on a 4-6 hours incremental schedule. That mimics a similar schedule to our household.
As I need to start somewhere. My partner is not on board with the puppy crying during the night due to their work hours and I’m expected to take advantage of the week work trip they are gone for to break him into crate training.
Any recommendations with these issues from experience or with this breed will help me.
I’ve been playing games with my 10.5 week old in the crate throughout the day, feeding meals in the crate, playing with toys in the crate, and doing frequent potty breaks day and night, but my puppy starts screaming at night when we close the gate. We try to let her cry it out, but we did go to her to make sure she didn’t have to go potty. She didn’t, but still screams and runs around when we close the gate. I’m worried she’s panicking and that this will make her like the crate less and less. Any advice for some desperate, sleep deprived humans?
I've done all of this my problem is my pup holds her pee and poop all day until she gets in her crate then goes. Then barks abs whine at night because she doesn't want it in there with her at night. Then once you clean it she does it again. It D matter how long we walk her she gonna it!! So frustrating! I mean as soon as I put her in the crate she goes. During the day at night it dust matter. Oh even in her carrier…. Im just ugh! I have her brother same age he is easy he goes outside and on the pad.

Anybody have success with this method?
Should I keep crate in the bedroom where she can see me or another room? Also do I let her out of the crate during the night to take her out to pee?
Tired him out

Bringing puppy home in a couple of days!! Making sure I’m prepared ❤🐾
So what might happen if I just take the crate to an area where no one can hear pup crying and just leave it. Besides a mess in the morning?
My puppy cries and whines so much at night in the crate how long should I wait before giving her a break ?
Oh my gosh so many great tips! Our mini bernedoodle is 13 weeks and we are on Day 6 and so sleep deprived! Thanks so much!😂
