I know a lot of people say negative things about your channel. But you helped train my first service dog due to your videos. Always been a fan and always will be
Zak, you probably know that some in your community do not agree with your techniques. You all have your own way to train dogs and may or may not work for your dog. But I dont see why they say this about you. Keep up the good work.
I’ve been watching several of you YouTube’s and have loved your approach. This is the first video that has confused me. I can see where distraction is useful in certain situations. But it seems to me that the dog should be able to learn that it should never jump on someone without permission and to always stay off the counter. Do you have a video that teaches this?

Why's Bark not delivering to Europe, so not fair, lol, I'm getting envious of those fun toys and treats every time I watch a video here on this channel!
Zak is fraud this is all wrong he hasn’t clue good making video look good so he can advertise dog companies all he teaches dog gets a attention when it being naughty
This is the worse cane Corso owner ever. Has no idea what he is actually doing. Wrong things to do with that breed. Instead of preventing this guy just lets a Corso really do his thing. By the way this dog is not months old. He is lying and this dog is over a year. I wonder why he doesn’t show the real time like Tom Davis’ Boeboel
these are not solutions to the problems. These are ways to stop the dogs from doing what you don't want them to do once they already started. But you can't teach them to never start doing these things you don't want them to do to begin with through positive training. Otherwise this is what the video would be about.
Use two words or sounds. I use NO! For dangerous or destructive behavior and that comes with a punishment, positive or negative. I use uh uh for you did it wrong try again. That comes with a positive reinforcement after the dog successfully performs the command. (In Zak's case request ). There are dogs in shelters whose owners followed Zak's training advice guaranteed.
If you’re not careful either—and use this technique of redirection every time—your dog may learn that jumping up on the counter and barking equals being called away which then equals a reward. All you’re doing is chaining behaviors, not actually resolving what you don’t want. You CAN use techniques that are actually preventative, such as seeing a trigger and rewarding when they stay neutral, but all this video’s approach is doing is teaching the dog to do something bad to get something good. You’ll never really eliminate the behavior and will have to be doing this their entire life because it WILL be easier to call them away, but the bad will persist.
How is no “not very specific” when it is a marker just as yes and release markers are? It captures a moment in time so that your dog much more clearly understands exactly what you don’t want so that you can show what you do want.
No means you can do anything except for the behaviour you’re doing. It is easy to teach without “fear.” Also lol at thinking that you would push a dog off for humping
Chewing shoe not a behaviour its been a puppy. His just experimenting plus theeting. Give them leather old shoe to chew. Remember patience is the key..calm assertive energy ❤😂❤
I have a 7 month old Boulab. When i'm in the room he's fine. But if I have to go to the toilet or whatever, he runs to the dining table and steals the cat food. Or to the salon table and steals the decoration. How can I stop this behaviour?

Every dog should know the word NO. Don't be rediculous.

Are you feeding Raw? Like the freeze dried toppers? I use instinct for my pup and he loves it! Especially the freeze dried pieces.
Zak the worst dog trainer!!! It's about money not dogs for him!!!

That's a first for me. First time I've seen a "professional" dog trainer's personal dog hump his or her leg. 😂
