Lord Elroy Clyde of Scottsdale, at 8 weeks old, is more dog in one little body than the entire New York animal shelter. Thank you for this, if we could at least get one wink of sleep that would be a good start.
A stray puppy just decided to casually walk into my apartment this morning. Vet says he doesn't have a chip so I assume he is a stray. So anyway, the dog adopted me it seems. I'm a bit scared so now I'm just bingewatching YT videos to try and figure out how to dog.
hello, i live a house with open kitchen two kids 4&2 sometimes they can a little dramatic means they can cry or shout really loud so i’m really afraid that the puppy will learn bad manner or have anxiety so what’s ur advice 😢?
Why do you all advocate for crates? Phasing out zoos for ages because it’s inhumane to keep animals in cages – there is no difference except a zoo animal as you have a far bigger cage than a dog crate. Get your dog a seatbelt and a comfy seat placement in the middle of the backseat where he will be safe. I have been a dog owner my entire adult life and at 57 years old I have never put my dog in a crate, they haven’t destroyed the house, they’ve lived long happy lives asa beloved family member. The crate/cage is for somebody who shouldn’t have dog. Spend time with them, train them… but mostly, spend Time with them and you don’t need to lock them away. Ridiculous, inhumane and unevolved👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
We have had our pup for a full week, only 1 accident and it was our fault. She's now a 9 week old Goldendoodle, and still being crate trained. She seems to be understanding quite well where to go potty (outside) and she's taking herself out the doggie door herself when she has to go, during the day. Smart pup. I'm monitoring her closely whenever she's not in crate. I still carry her outside manually to go potty when she wakes up from her crate sleeping at night, (usually after 3 hours she cries and I carry her out, then back to the crate) but I feel like she's progressing fast, and I want to trust her to have supervised access to 1 more room, sooner than the timeline you give. Can I accelerate trusting her to another room, if I keep monitoring her? I love all your videos, BTW
I wasn't supposed to be picking up my pup until the 23rd but now I have to pick him up today and his crate is not due to arrive until this evening around when we'll be getting home with him. Should I be worried? Maybe I should get one of those soft sided travel crates for the ride? It's been 16 years since I had a puppy and I really want things to go as smoothly as possible
with all the animals i've ever had cat, wild birds ( they just came to me), dogs i use KSSST sound to grab the animals attention and then i correct their behaviour 😀
We are on a wait-list to bring home our another Aussie pup (due to be born this week) and my wife is a dog groomer and way too excited. I'm here cause I have no idea about how to do anything we've never had a puppy puppy together lol only older dogs 🤣
Wow…. my parents brought in a puppy but they are in no way prepared. No pen, no toys, basically only food and water. It’s been three days and still no training just letting it cry it out throughout the night until she sleeps, I need to step up and teach it
