All these videos are great but they also shows dogs that are very good driven…which isn’t always the case.
So my puppy is REALLY STUBBORN and im getting stressed out. Shes distracted by my other dogs and things on the ground. How do i keep her focused so that she can walk loosely and not sniff all around when we are walking ?

Hey guys! Love the videos. Question for ya. My pup is NOT super food motivated. When doing walking training just like this she does maybe a B- job of staying focused on the task at hand. She’ll start walking before I walk, she’ll drift off and start sniffing things etc. Any thoughts? Do I need to make the environment even less distracting or try to find a food that is really really high value? We’ll find training treats she likes but she’ll eventually get bored of them.

if we dont go the way my puppy wants she will sit/lay down in the grass in the blazing sun until we go the way we want its like im fighting my puppy its annoying ill use treats for a bit then try without it and its like she got brainwashed and forgot everything

What about a puppy that is so food driven that when I try to teach something he just jumps up or sits or lays in front of me just to have the treats.

What about pups that’s doesn’t want to go on walks? My puppy sits or lays down at the beginning of our walk. But after we get to a certain point he walks just fine. It’s only a 10-15 min walk.
