Hey so I’m planning to get a hamster, but I’m a kid do you have some advice like dos and donts or what they should eat stuff like that pls!
Frrr please help hammies!
4 ft tall Mansion 3 ft wide
My hamster cage went from only a foot tall to 10 inches tall 2 ft tall tub then and now he's living in a 4-ft mansion with two floors
If Only we were rich
A small cage wtf this is the first cause of stress that’s bad
I totally agree with this video but I don't think the hamster cages should be really big I think the massive ones are over the top and I know it's not just about so they can run around and exercise it's also about having enough room a after you put their stuff in but wheels were invented for them to burn energy and exercise so people that say they need a bigger cage for exercising that's not right.
I really want a hammy but I won’t get one bc I don’t think I could get the best cage for it I don’t want to make it have such a terrible life like some hamster owners do by giving them small cages I think people should remember your not just making a cage for your hamster your pretty much making their whole life so I’m just going to stick with my Guinea pigs and later I will adopt a hammy later when I can give it proper care. Btw I love your vids
And you didn’t even put the water bottle in there yet!
Currently saving up for a 32"L x 16"W x 16"H cage I’m so exited
It’d work for a place to put the, while you tidy their decent cage though
i used to have a hamster. i was around 8, and my family didn’t really know what we were doing, but we knew we weren’t going to get her one of those tube-filled cages or the tiny ones. we ended up getting her this huge rat cage, and we built her little enclosures made out of wood. i still wanted her to be in open space though, so my dad also made her 4 small walls that i could put on my rug to play with her. i know she probably didn’t live the most amazing life, but i like to think 8 year old me and my dad tried our best.
As I own 23 hamsters this is not the solution hamsters are just small and get scared and feel lost in big enclosures so they will be fine with a small cage like this
I have a question, I have one 2 inch(long) dwarf hamster and currently have a cage about 2 feet long and a foot wide it is also three floors (two floors are smaller I provide lots of hide outs, water, bowls with fresh foods and a proper sized wheel do I need a different enclosure???
Update: I’m making a cage!
Why did you buy it then?
It perfectly fine these comments are so annoying hamster can go in that perfect
AS A CARRIER ONLY THO

It should be illegal for pet stores to sell these
That cage is way to small
I used to use these for travel. But I now don't wanna even give them the money. So I made a smaller bin cage for emergency trips and stuff! These are so expensive and for what???
1.

das 2.

bitte nur große holz laufräder verwenden
I find such a similar thing with beardies. I’m getting my boy into a 120 gallon soon. People often don’t give them correct enclosure size, substrate depth, or climbing opportunities. This is mostly because of how pet stores market the most common 40 gallon as enough when really it’s a third of the proper size.
Sorry girl but I’m broke and don’t know anything about hamsters and have it in a cage like that but a bit bigger BUT THE TOOLS ARENT AS BIG LIKE THAT AND STILL HAS SPACEEEE u JST use very big ones mine litterly has a 2nd floor lmafo
For my hamster I use a large plastic box with a cut out for oxygen at the top and a ton of room to move around. When I first got a hamster I had that cage but then my dad said “We should get a bigger cage because Lulu can’t really move around.” So now I have a huge plastic box. I have had three hamsters so far Lulu, Graham, and Bandit is my new one! I hate that people choose for their hamsters to live in that small of a cage.
Hey I have a question I have 2 kaytee level 1 cages with lots of tubing. I put my hamster in a hamster ball only when I’m cleaning out his cage because I don’t have a hamster proof room. I have cool thing for him to adventure. Is it good
Think about it the smaller hamster cages are cheaper and everyone might not be able to afford a a big cage
My hamster just got a cage upgrade from bin to an even bigger enclosure with glass. Haven't seen her since and that's just fine with me. She's living her best life making tunnels and stashing food
This video just makes me so mad seeing the small cage
My hamster have a not big but not small cage and she have a house and a wheel in it! But I play with her everyday and she seems like she enjoying it so I hope she's happy!
I just ordered a large pawhut last night with my own money for my gerbils! My hamsters cage is 100cm L 50cm W 50cm H as well
I can’t believe they make these. My heart breaks for every hamster that ends up in something like this, or doesn’t end up in a home at all.
Yeah that kind of cage is wayyy to small this video is a very good example of why big cages are needed. I have a 40 gallon, maybe 50 gallon tank and it works perfectly for my only gerbil
My Guinea pigs have 4 cages to constantly roam around in lol
I got a fish tank for my little biscuit
