Super. But i saw a video, just stand on a short leash and the dog corrects itself. That was nice to see. No words necessary. 😊 Dog jumps only six times and then ready.
Definitely gonna try this with my dog Luna, she is a staffie who is nearly two and omg does she always jump on everyone when I stop to say hi, will let you know how it goes
Awesome. I'M DOING THIS TODAY. We are fostering a stray lab as of 4 days now. She's young and a jumper. VERY stressful for me since my dogs are older and they do not do this. They are all rescues❤THANK YOU!! PS Do you need a spayed yellow lab from Alabama??❤😊
Do you have any videos already on training dogs not to jump on people as they come in the door. 😅 I feel like I'm having a harder time getting my dogs to understand not to do that.
Any suggestions of how to stop cocker spaniel puppy from jumping on the sofa? I’ve been trying your trick observes in other videos and it works to a certain extent but isn’t discouraging the behaviour of jumping up when cooking tea or on the sofa. I refrain from putting him in his pen/crate as don’t want him to associate with this negatively. At the breeders house he was able to jump on everything in sight and were hardly any boundaries so we are undoing a lot of behaviours. He’s 12 weeks old and is able to sit, lie down, roll over, stay and wait perfectly. But the jumping on sofas and up at kitchen units is proving a little more challenging. Thank you! P.S. love your content!
My 7 month lab pup takes the correction as a reaction and continues to "play" aka jumping biting! I'm struggling to get her to understand when she's done the wrong thing. I've been just walking away/not reacting which can calm hr down but doesn't really solve the issue for the long run Thanks.

That's aversive and punishment based training. Dog just learns to avoid/ fear the situation.
Smart dog. Learned immediately.

Love your use of pairing. Are you an old timer, or have you started using modern behavioral sciences? ABA
It's so simple but so profound! All about clear communication
What breed is doggie?
Dodgy edit there at the point of correction… maybe it’s not that easy after all 😅
Swiftly but fairly get you fat butt in sharp my dood, that heavy breathing ain’t no good 👍 ❤
That correction was beautiful! Good boi!
I do have a next dog I've been looking after over the holidays wish you could have him

Your method is much more effective than others.
The animation 😂
Please come to tampa fl and spend some time with my rottie
Is there a full video of this?
Great, now we just need to teach people to not jump at my dog for cuddles when we go walkies.
Will this work if my dog is wearing a harness? I have a small Boston terrier that jumps on people all the time….help
It’s not that simple not all dogs respond this way! Some will continue to jump .
I’ve tried your technique and my whippet 9 months keeps jumping ! I use same kind of leash everything !

And what dog only takes one time to learn please keep shit real for people 😊
Our Labrador puppy does this, but also to the table and counters. Suggestions?
This is not the way to train dogs it's forcing them into doing what we want, never works long term.
my girl does this but she’s too excited to listen to us and won’t sit after the correction:(
Does that hurt his neck to pop the leash like that?
They need to not even be able to get to point of touching the other person. Its like the correction was delayed.
Damn. Cant be the only one Wanting to know what size shoes will use😮
lol I did meet Matt at my local shops in Australia
Nice video. I would have used a picture of a parrot instead of a pair lol

That’s not good for a dogs neck. Ask a Veterinarian.
That's mean. It's too tight
I love your ideas, but Bertie is nowhere near as jumpy and excited as my dog. He jumps on me, others and dogs.
Why do sound just like eddie hall
