It's really cute to see people running with their little dogs. But especially if you have a bigger, stronger dog, the equipment and the connection (command training) play an important role. In the end, I ended up with non-stopdogwear equipment. Especially dogs with strong pulling power need a proper harness. I wish you many more great runs! 🙂
We have a 13yo collie and she can still run ahead of me when I'm doing my fast interval sessions then turns round and looks at me laughing to remind me how slow I am.
That waist thing is a terrible idea. I've seen so many dogs draging their person around. One freaked out because my bulky was lying calmly for a break and she couldn't see that he was on a leash. Her lunatic goldie was running her ragged.
That little bowl for her ND her own little vest. I cannot handle it. And I love how she's the recovery run companion. Ive just recruited my own little recovery run pal. She's just the right one to keep me chill

I love running with my dog, I even have a backpack for her for when we go hiking. I got tired of being the only one carrying water LOL
A leather lead and training collar has been sufficient for me.

Love this – canine companions are the best ❤ (until they break your foot !)
I would say buy at good human belt. It's goes round your hips not your tummy. You are then pulled from hips and won't get a bad back
Here's my tip – don't run with a 40kg Huskamute cross. When they've had enough and stop – you're walking home 😂
Pacing with my dog, Molly, is more along the lines of try to keep up and don't die. 😂
Which breed of dog is that?
What garmin should I get for my dog?
What a cutie pie
