Absolutely agree with this list! 😊 My current medium sized breed is the Aspin!
You can never convince me Pit bulls are safe.
What about a mini bull terrier?
I love my standard poodle. I still don't understand why people mix them when they're already perfect.
I mean, if you have 3+ kids, herd away.
What I've noticed with pitbulls is that they are more prone to separation anxiety. They've been super sweet and are for sure protective of their humans, but you have to be mindful of that anxiety from day one and be committed to their training. Don't wait until there's a problem.
What breeds would you recommend for seniors? I'm moving away and taking both my dogs with me and want to get them one when I leave
I have a pit/ border collie mix and she is the smartest, most affectionate dog I've ever known!
You did not just say labradoodle 😑 immediate unfollow
Did you say herd like sheep or hurt
Mentioning Pitbull in top 3 medium sized dogs is so american :))) …
They also put Pulisic on the Messi&Ronaldo level :))))
Every labradoodle I have met has been an asshole.
Labradoodle isn’t hyperallergenic. Please check it up again
In India in my city pitbull are psudo banned due their aggressive nature..and some incidents.
Labradoodles are the light beige of dogs
Did you Pitbull . No way
I highly recommend the Australian/ blue heeler mix. You get the best of both worlds. She is short haired but with the Australian face and build.
My Texas heeler (the breeds nickname) is 6 months old now and acts like a service dog when we are in public. She heels while i walk, sits when i stop, and lays down immediately when i snap my fingers.
she has extra energy since she is still a baby, so she just runs in circles outside and plays tug-o-war for a bit with me.
She's very friendly and loves kids.
I give children her leash and they just walk her around shes so gentle with them.
She was very easy to train to not react at all near other dogs. I only hear her bark maybe once a month now and that's usually because a child is teasing her with a toy but wont give it to her. 😂
Be noted tho, as a puppy you have to train nipping out of them since they are working dogs
But my pup it was very easy to train out and she now just uses her paw to smack us when she wants attention.
Just a warning about the Pitbulls: knees and skin. Most dogs I have seen with cruciate tears are the bully breeds, as well as most of the itchy yeasty dogs that need to be on chronic meds to reduce the itch. For those reasons I probably won't ever have one. I can't afford one knee surgery, much less two. Otherwise they are great dogs.
Gonna disagree with the labradoodle rec. They're either great dogs or monsters, and because they're a designer mutt there's no breed standard or breeding regulations so you have no way of knowing what kind of temperament you're going to get. They're a favorite of backyard breeders because of how popular they are, so most of them are horrifically inbred and have all the health problems that come with that. Even the guy who created the breed called them Frankenstein's monster and wishes he never made them.
Pit bulls are great dogs. As long as they are not taught to be mean.
Blue heelers are the best!! Super smart and extremely loyal. Shadow dogs is what they become. I step on mine every so often because he's always so close to me.
People! Never ever buy a dog that has had its ears or tail sliced off! That kind of painful mutilation has to stop.
What about staffordshire bullterrier?
We are pretty happy with our Vizsla.
pit bulls are actually extremely gentle. i watched a baby pull the ear of a pit and he sat there like umm, ok.
My Pit German Shepherd mix was just a love bug 💕. On the other hand I would NEVER get another Australian Cattle dog. He was extremely smart, but very much a one family dog. He was nasty to anyone who came to the house and would nip at people when we were out if they got too close to him.
