What if they don’t pee within 15 minutes but the second you bring them back inside they pee?
?? fun fact ??
In my country it is seen as animal abuse if you have your dog in a crate in the house.
“I potty trained my dog without crate training” wow good for you !!! Crate training isn’t abuse and your dog SHOULD be crate trained so that’s not a flex to everyone saying it
I need more info 😂
I'm struggling with my pup! Rescued a pit-malinois mix and the two month old guy is a DREAM when it comes to everything but potty training. He's great at crate training, he's been perfect socializing with other dogs and strangers even in crowded environments, he's getting the hang of waiting for permission already before entering a doorway- but he won't stop going in the house.
When it comes to poop it makes no sense, when he eats anywhere between 2 minutes and 10 hours he will need to poop, he will do that and beg to go back inside and immediately pee (even if we stay out). He doesn't go in his crate, but anywhere else he goes when he wants. However, I am SURE a big part of the issue is it's averaging around 18-30° right now with a lot of snow and he hates going outside. I'm not sure what else to do other than hope he figures it out before warmer weather kicks in lol.
Can I potty train my puppy without crate training
I have done these tips before when I realized that once i took my puppy out the crate , an accident would happen. So I started to pick him up and take him outside. And it worked. But now I have a new puppy and live in a house that doesn’t have any grass. My puppy won’t go at all. You would think just sniff and go but he won’t. He does well on a training pad to pee but he won’t poo on it. How can I train him. I am waiting on artificial grass to arrive. I’m hoping that works 🙁
My dog will eat dinner and then not poop till the next morning. Is it just puppies?
Thankyou so much for your yt vids!
I trained my dog to pee and poop out of the house within the first 10 days I got him, the only two problems I have is he will get out of the house and run, and he pulls a lot on the leash.
My puppy often doesn’t poop 1 -15 minutes after eating. I’m not sure if it’s because she’s on a raw diet or not.
idk my dad just screamed at my dog and start chasing her when she poops in the house and that worked she only poop and pee outside
I remember when I had to carry my dog outside every time he woke up
Yeahhhh idk my GS never had an accident in the house 1 to 15 mins is wild😂
'You cannot have any success in potty training your puppy unless you crate train' 100% false. I have never crate trained a dog (My 2 Dogs wouldn't know what a crate even looks like) and I have NEVER had an issue with potty/house training. My Mother, who DID crate train, still has slight issues with house soiling after 3yrs (only time she has ever had a problem with a dog in 60yrs, she had never tried crate training before).
For me it is a 100% House training Success rate over 30yrs with no crate training ever. 60yrs for my Mother. But a 0% success rate when crate trained
I potty trained all of my dogs without crate training. 3 days tops & none have ever gone potty inside again. Im just very consistent, even if they start to potty inside i pick them up mid potty & bring them outside in the grass. And then when we get back inside i praise them alot & give them a treat!
I don't have crates for my dogs but I always found it easy to potty train them. Take them outside a lot, especially after they've eaten, praise them if they do their business outside. No need to be too harsh when they pee or poop inside, they'll learn quickly anyway. I've found that dogs have a natural instinct not to sht where they sleep.
That's good.
dogs poop after 10 to 15min after eating????
Food doesn’t even digest in 15 minutes. Human or dogs.
I spent a weekend. I took her her every hour. Stopped water 2 hr before bed. Crated her in bedroom at night…she whined for about 5 minutes but i was in room with her…
I was so happy on day 3 she went to door…wow. my gsd nala is the best.
Of course i praised her and treated her after every potty…and say go potty nala. She sniff around 5 minutes before going…oh poopy is never once its usuallt a double header….
I trained her to sit at door before going in. Now when she is done. She just sits at door. Such a smart girl😊😊😊
Thats not true. I have poty trained every dog that live inside my jome over the yesrs . I have a corso and my apt .i never owned a crate . Yo esvh his own. I do like videos and sll the info. You give.
I potty trained 4 goldendoodles' successfully without the crate training 3 within 48 hours.
I mean not just that but if they do use the bathroom inside, clean it up and make sure they use it in a certain spot, you can train them to use the bathroom in a well ventilated room in a certain spot. I have my trained to a room in the opposite side of the house, in a certain spot. It has something they can pee on and somewhere to poop, close to a window. I also recommend Clorox with a very strong fragrance like lavender or even Coconut. If you use bleach, dogs dislike the smell and they may end up changing their bathroom spot. They're also trained to let me know they need to go outside by giving a small bark or by grabbing their leash and bringing it to me. And hell guys light a candle.
Used this system and it worked
My dog was potty trained in 72hrs and now stands at the living room door when he has to go toilet
Oh look its a cute cano corso
I have a 4 month old golden who pees a little every time a stranger touches him. How do i train him to not do that🥲
Yep. Two meals = two 💩 's a day like clockwork.
Take the unlimited food bowl away.
Nice cane corso
Sadly, mine is a 14 year old boston terrier, she cant control herself anymore, when she has to go, she goes. I don't blame her, though. It's awful to think about but her lifes closing….she gets all the permissions.
My dog automatically went outside to potty at 2 months…..someone help its been 7 yrs and I never stopped thinking about how my dog is preprogrammed
My old Rottweiler would talk to us so I always knew
I got lucky and my older dog helped me potty train my puppy. I would carry him outside and reenforce the command so he would know to pee when I ask. All the puppies in my life never used a crate with. You do not need it to potty train. Don't listen to that. Crate train if you want and it helps you and your dog. Mine doesn't like crates and would rather be under a pile of blankets while I am gone.
I have never crate trained any of my dogs and I was able to potty train them within a week or less
Haha! My niece’s twin 3 year olds are still in diapers🤦🏻♀️ Many ppl just don’t know how to train their dogs or are too lazy to.
I potty trained my Girl without a Crate, within 2 Weeks or so. My rule of thumb was – after sleeping, playing eating and drinking, i took her outside to do her business. Worked perfectly. So a crate is not really necessary but it can be helpful.
Sorry I never crate trained my puppy but he's never had an accident
I got lucky and just had to train to go through a dog door, but dogs naturally hate going on hard floors to and prefer grass so maybe 20 minutes and never had an accident except once at night when the auto lock took a lil to long
Excuse me. Crates are a very cultural thing. Not a thing in the EU. Never had a crate for my dogs. No one did their thing in the house. So never say never.
Thanks… but I still don't have a dog, sadly, and I bet your dogs keep you energised😂
We trained ours by hanging bells on the doors and trained him to know to ring it when he needed to go. It worked like a dream.
No. Your dog will not poop 10 to 15 minutes after eating. Wtf 😂😂
