my puppy went into his crate on his own day 1 and went right to bed. Granted, I put the old shirt I had on the day I got him in the crate and my robe over top. He was perfectly fine.
If you can’t have a room for your dog instead of a damn crate then don’t get a dog..? Why put them in a supersmall space IN YOUR HOME that will just give them problems with their body bc they can’t stretch while sleeping etc… I had my dog free since puppy but a specific room where he knows no one touch him, never had a problem.
Stop controlling and let the dog be a dog. Not something you put in a drawer and get out whenever u want to🤦🏼♀️
At what age can a puppy safely stay overnight without having to pee/poop? My nine week old puppy whines to get out of her crate roughly every two hours throughout the night. Every time I bring her outside, she pees right away, so I don’t think it’s a crying spoiled issue. I think she honestly has to pee and her bladder is full. Is that because she is still so young or am I giving her too much water and Feed, too late into the evenings. Help I’m a new dog owner. Lol
The number of times I get asked by people if my dog is crate trained is unbelievable. He’s been crate trained since day 1 at home and he knows his crate is a safe and happy place. It’s not rocket science. Just associate it with something positive and they catch on so quickly.
Ngl. My puppy day 1 (10 weeks old) got her two days ago. She stay running in and out the crate on her own. I only leave her in there when she’s sleep or whatever. But when she’s potty trained she gone run everywhere she dang well pleases too. Her reward for being a good girl
My Maltese has become such a crybaby about the crate since he became 10 months old. All of sudden he doesn't like getting brushed, doesn't like getting blow dried, doesn't like his crate and doesn't know what half his commands are.

How's about training your dog well enough so you don't need to imprison it?
I do all these things and my pup still hates to be in it. Any suggestions?

I got that cage
My puppy is 3 months old it’s so tiny and has a cage that’s uncomfortable like this one
This is typical controlling human behavior.

What's the point of having a dog if you're going to put it in a crate for 8 to 10 hours
My labs crate is five times the size of that, he was the size of a medium sized dog in four months.
If your dog isn’t crate, trained, and it’s not sleeping in there, where are you having it sleep?

No crate just restroom with food and water, jack russel goes wild barely 5-10 minutes but now going about an hour.
Didn't know I could put food in the crate while the dog is in there, I'm a new dog owner and this is good information
Do you have crate training video? Prob should wait until 8 weeks huh
