Just in case there is any miscommunication you shouldn’t leave your gecko alone for 2 weeks you still need to feed them give them water and if u have a crestie mist them
PLS READ I got my leapard gecko abt 3 months ago now and I’ve handled her once when we were cleaning out her enclosure but then after abt 2 mins of holding she jumped out my hand she was running round my room as we were trynna catch her and she nearly climbed into my wardrobe. I haven’t held her since cos I’ve lost a bit of confidence is there anything I could do to help
Okay so i left mine alone like a week and he still acts scared of me despite my best efforts elsewhere. I dont know why he wants to escape so bad from me, but i know i should wait more time i guess.
Got a female gargie about 2 weeks ago, picked her up for the first time yesterday night. Took her out and sat down on the carpet with her. Things mostly went well, but I do think I may have startled her while putting her back in her terrarium, so she did pee on my hand.
I havent dropped her yet, however when I first met her at the store a few months back, they took her out to show her off for a bit and she did just jump straight down on the floor. So she has already experienced gravity at least once before.
She does seem kinda shy tho so I'm thinking of taking things slowly with her.
