The Guide elaborates on the techniques used on the show. The examples given in the https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 are helpful and some of the techniques suggested very useful. One such technique/tool suggested was the lure stick to encourage a small dog to keep up with the heel command. I have a small dog who lags behind smelling any and everything and find it hard to keep bending over while walking to his level. The lure stick is great also for another dogs focus and sprinting at anything that catches her eye. The stories about different dogs, their different temperaments, have been helpful, especially Lulu's: After reading about Lulu's challenges I felt relief concerning one of my rescues that I have had for 10 years. Over many years I have checked out many training books from the library, watched different shows, DVDS, bought training books, taken lessons and this book is the best by far! Kindness, patience and perseverance works.
Brandon mcmillan is the most gentle, thorough and effective dog i've ever encountered. My friend and i love the dog show and never miss it. So many times we've shed a tear of happiness just seeing a dog's life changed forever when proper training is applied and they go on to live their lives the way they should. I have brandon's book https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxK8-VQWpYThx4IC6MiIvb6VS1ebTzzdxq in two formats. Not only the paperback version but also the kindle version to refer to when i don't have the paperback along with me. I have used his methods with my cavalier kc spaniel and turned a non-disciplined furbaby into a companion who has traveled thousands of miles with us across the country. He is a near perfect dog thanks to brandon's methods. I don't get one cent of kickback for recommending brandon but i do it because i love dogs. They deserve to be given a chance. Brandon's mission in life – to rescue dogs and place them in a forever, happy home – is very dear to my heart. I recommend his methods to anyone who has a dog – young or old. I've seen him take even old dogs and teach them. Brandon was an animal trainer before his current mission. His parents were animal trainers. His methods are the best i've ever found. Your furbaby will thank you for spending the money on this book. Don't hesitate – it is worth every cent.
I'm going to get 2 of the harnesses for our Irish Doodles and a pouch for training them and their pups! Thank you so much. I'll be sure to use your code.
You use treats constantlyā¦I have a 9 lb Bichon that has little interest in foodā¦I do reward with praise, but itās often not enough. Iāve even tried to train with rib roastā¦he just ignore itā¦could I see a dog being trained w/o constantly being fed?
I adopted my dog from a rescue and she was one year. Sheās now two years old and we are trying to learn how to walk on the leash but I need to start in the backyard now and hope that helps .
Since I don't have a yard, we have HAD to go walking the neighborhood with a leash from day 1. My puppy winds back and forth without a sense of heeling at all. Do you have a video to help with that?.. I'm sure you'd know what to do.
We just got our 8 week old puppy, last night. We are starting leash training with food time today. In the meantime she needs to go outside to potty but pulls on the leash and refuses to follow. What is the best way to deal with this behavior as we work on leash training?

I feel so discouraged and am going to try and use these tips. My 1 year old doodle got worse on the leash after a trainer.
How many treats can I give a 3 month old puppy?
the lamb tripe says they are for adults-what do you suggest for puppys?
Great vid! I canāt get the discount code to work for the treat pouch and harness in the video.
My puppy doesn't want to walk on the leash he pulls away

We just got our 3 month old Goldendoodle & have been watching every video over & over again. Thank you !
never mind you answered my question lol
What is the earliest month a puppy could be trained?
There is no hands off leash link product recommendation here. Can you please include that in all your leash videos?
This is great for a new puppy, but do you have tips for puppies that are already pulling or overly distracted?
Ehhh. I've seen to many dogs pull and escape with harnesses. I'll use a harness for running, biking, etc but never on a walk again.
can you give too many treats to your puppy / interfere with their normal meals?
awesome we just got a golden doodle
