My golden boy Bassie used to bite as a puppy too. Not violently, just gnawing. To stop it, we use to teach him to give kisses instead of biting and it worked! ❤

When I try to redirect them to a chew toy they just look at it funny than go back to biting me 😩😩
My golden retriever is 4 months old and is very active. But the sad thing is it's very very bitey. I can't even play with it for 2 minutes because, in the beginning it doesn't bite. After like a minute or so, it starts biting and chewing with it's very sharp teeth. I'm new to this kind of dogs. Kindly advice.

My current dog needed time with other dogs to learn to stop.
Redirecting, training, etc.. didn't really do anything as she still tried to chew on me even during that and she wasn't food motivated.
But enough time with adult dogs as she got older meant that she stopped doing it.
