How are you even thinking this is a good idea. The soap is staying on one side of the body while you're rinsing the other side it's not going anywhere to rinse a dish you don't put it in the dish water you run it underneath water to clean it off. I don't understand why you can't wash your dog while they stand up??????

My 3 tips:
Use a comfortable water temperature (not too cold or hot)
Let the dog adjust to the sound and feel of water before trying to wash his face
Don’t let water get down in his ears
It's good to bathe them when puppies and as they grow up and use positive reinforcement so they learn to stay calm during bath time.

Sorry, the best way to wash a dog outside is to have a hot water spigot put in next to the cold. The hose water is too cold after a while. Would you like the cold water on your skin? I've had this for years and my dogs love it. No need to clean out your shower.
